Dr Alisa Tan
Senior Medical Director, Dr D Aesthetics Group
Dr Alisa Tan is an experienced physician with a strong interest in aesthetic medicine, dermatology and wellness. She began practising medicine in 2008 and has continued to advance her knowledge and skills through ongoing professional training in aesthetic medicine.
Over the years, Dr Alisa has developed a particular interest in finding effective solutions for pigmentation concerns, skin ageing and overall skin rejuvenation. Her practice focuses on helping patients improve skin quality while addressing common concerns such as uneven pigmentation like melasma and sunspots, loss of firmness and age-related changes.
She also has a strong interest in non-invasive facial lifting and skin tightening treatments, with an emphasis on selecting appropriate technologies and treatment combinations according to each patient’s facial structure, skin condition and individual goals.
Committed to staying current in the rapidly evolving field of aesthetic medicine, Dr Alisa regularly travels internationally to attend conferences, workshops and advanced training programmes, allowing her to keep abreast of emerging technologies, treatment techniques and developments in aesthetic medicine.
Dr Alisa believes strongly in taking a holistic and individualised approach to aesthetic care. Rather than focusing solely on a single feature or concern, she considers the patient’s skin condition, facial characteristics, lifestyle and aesthetic goals when developing a suitable treatment plan.
Known for her gentle, soft-spoken and approachable manner, Dr Alisa takes time to understand her patients’ concerns and preferences. She believes that a good aesthetic experience begins with listening, allowing patients to feel comfortable, informed and involved throughout their treatment journey.
Dr Alisa is multilingual and conversant in English, Mandarin, Cantonese and Malay, enabling her to communicate comfortably with patients from diverse backgrounds.
Outside of medicine, she enjoys refining her culinary skills, discovering good food and travelling.
